Siopao
Oh lala!
I’m so happy today. Why? because today is Nick’s 27th birthday! ^.^
However, in Korea, today is his 28th birthday already. Koreans believe that when a child was born, he/she is already 1 year old so they add one more year on his actual age.
Going back to my Siopao, I’m just glad that he is a year older now which means he is a year wiser. I was thinking of sending him a gift but since I’m on tight budget now I just decide to write a short article about the things I love about him.
Actually, there are so many things I love about him but let’s just narrow it down to 5 things I love most about him because if I’ll list all those things then for sure I will run out of space.
So to start this off, here are the the “5 Things I Love Most About My Siopao”.
1. He is very loving, caring and thoughtful.
In the 4 years and 5 months that we have been together, I’ve proven that he has a huge heart not only towards me but also towards his parents, friends and even strangers. He always make sure that his loved ones are always happy. If he feels that you are feeling down, he will do everything he can to cheer you up. I remember one time I was losing hope on my dream of becoming a doctor , he gave me an inspiring book about the adventures of a young woman who also dreamnt of becoming a doctor. These simple things made Siopao more adorable.
2. He is smart and responsible student.
Nick always belongs on the top students in his class. When he was still studying in La Salle, the school’s Vice President for Student’s Affair appointed him to be the representatives of all Korean students in La Salle. Now that he is in Daebul University, his classmates made him their class mayor.
3. He is a good and loyal friend.
Although he seldom see his friends now because of his busy schedule, he still make it a point to keep in touch with them. When he was still here in the Philippines, one of his friends got in trouble with the Bureau of Immigration because of his visa. Since his friend is not really good in speaking English, he flew to Manila right away and talked to the Immigration officers. He was so worried about his friend that he even slept in the airport just to accompany him.
4. He has lovely, chinky eyes.
Do I have to explain this more? Just try looking at his eyes and you’ll see why I feel this way. ^.^
5. Lastly, he has high tolerance for crazy people.
Seriously, this is another part of him that I don’t know to explain and will never understand why. ^.^
Anyways, happy birthday again Siopao! I love you so much! Just do what you have to do. I’ll just be right here to support you.

Uhoh, uhoh! …(*coughing) Hachooo!
Whoa! dusts and cobwebs everywhere!
Can’t believe that a year have passed already and I haven’t updated my blog, not even once…Darn! I’m such a stagnant blogger! Forgive me!
You see, I have been extremely busy during these past few months. I have a lot of new tasks from my client. Tasks like email marketing, Google local rankings, blogging not to mention having my Squidoo account suspended. Also, I have to write some topics about debt relief. I ain’t no writer, mind you, that’s why this task almost drained all of my energies >.<
Okay, enough of those excuses… bottom line here is, I just simply slack off from updating my blog…^o^ kkk
Anyways, starting from now on I’ll try to update this blog more often..kk….as often as I can. Until next time.

Mantao
Tomorrow, I will fly to Manila for the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT). NMAT is only given twice a year. I was supposed to take it here in Iloilo last December but I wasn’t able to catch up with the registration deadline. So I’m left with no choice but to go to Manila to take it.
I don’t know how to describe exactly what I feel this time. I feel excited and nervous at the same time, So many questions keep on popping in and out of my not so sane mind. Questions like “Can I pass the exam?” “Can I go back to Med School this June?” “How can I afford the tuition fee and everything?” and most important “Can I really become a doctor?” ahhhhhhh..I’m feeling dizzy now.
I guess I just have to remember what my father told me before. He said, if I want to reach my dreams I have to work hard on it and be willing to sacrifice. My father is right, I really have to make an effort, a lot of effort that is, to become what I want to become. But how I wish he is still here to see me reach my dreams.
Anyways, hope I can do well on exam. I know I can do it! AJAH Joying!

Office Stuff
After 2 1/2 years of being an owl, now I’m back to day shift. At first, it was a bit odd walking in the broad day light…I felt like melting. It’s like I’m a character from one of Anne’s Rice vampire novels..hehe. i was a bit worried, too, because I don’t have lots of friend on day shift. Most of my friends are either have resigned already or have transferred to night shift.
Anyways, I felt, happy in a way because I was not late. In fact, I was the 2nd person to arrive in our office. I just hope I can keep this up..hehehe Also I had a nice lunch at Green Mango near Coffe Break. It’s like 2 minutes away from office on foot so it’s perfect. The food was great! plus the prices are very affordable. Come to think of this, I’ve got a complete lunch, rice, pork adobo and softdrinks, for only P49.00! How cool is that?
Not only that, the place looks neat! I love the colors and the interiors. Its interiors is like JD Roadhouse with the affordability of Mang Inasal..hehe
So far, I think I’m gonna enjoy my stay here in day shift but still I will miss my friends on night shift. Just take care guys! See you soon!

Siopao and Mantao

Last November 30, Siopao and I went for an overnight trip to Costa Aguada. Costa Aguada is a resort in Inampulugan Island, Guimaras. I already went there when I was small together with my family. We went there via a boat ride from Iloilo City.
In this trip, it was both our first time to go there via Pulupandan. We were quite nervous and excited at the same time. Too excited that we even got up around 5 AM just to pack up our things and go to the terminal.
We got to the island around 9 AM. It was indeed a hidden paradise. The water is crystal clear plus the sand is white and fine. Well, not that fine and white as Boracay’s but still it was beautiful. I guess the serenity of the island sets it apart from Boracay.
Siopao and I had a wonderful and memorable time in this island. Here are just some of our pictures around the island.

Siopao and Mantao
Wohooo!
Today is our 3rd year anniversary. Siopao came here in Iloilo. Well, actually he arrived yesterday. He will stay here ’til Monday…^.^
I’ve already filed a vacation leave. I’m just too excited to spend our anniversary together. We had dinner at Afrique’s. The place was really cozy and private. Plus the food tasted great! I love their pizza and pasta. Also their vegetable salad was delectable. Over-all the place was two thumbs up! Oh! make it four thumbs up! (Siopao’s thumbs included) ^^
After a sumptous dinner, what better way to celebrate 3 years of love, kisses, hugs and crazy, nonsense fights than playing DotA. Yup! you heard it right! DotA…we both love this game. Well, I guess it’s our shared interest and bonding time. We simply love to play this game together or should I say kill each other through this game…puhaha!
Anyways, I love you Siopao. Eventhough we shared lots of uneasy and crazy moments together during the past years, I’m still glad to be with you. I love you Pee!

Siopao and Mantao

After a week of trying to put up my own site, deciding what template to use, today I finally decide to write my first post ever. I don’t really know what to write or how to start this post. Well, I guess I just have to start by telling you a story about how my Siopao and I met.
My Siopao and I have been in a relationship for almost 3 years now. We first met in a Korean School in Iloilo City. I just graduated from College. I was looking for a job when one of my friends told me that there is a Korean School which just opened. That time I didn’t not know anything about Koreans. I saw them every time in our school and around the city but I didn’t really care about them. For me, they are just some tourists who are here in the Philippines to study English.
At first, I was hesitant to apply in the Korean School since my major is not English. In fact, English is my most hated subject! But still I tried to submit my resume. I remember it was almost lunch time when I arrived in the Korean School to have my resume submitted. The place was already empty when I arrived. I was about to leave the place when the door opened. A skinny, tall Korean guy wearing eyeglasses went out. He smiled at me and asked what I want. I said I was there to apply for work. He then motioned me to enter and he called the owner of the school and then he left.
The owner is a Korean woman, she instructed me to come back in the afternoon around 3 PM for class observation and final interview. I was really excited because finally, I can have a job. When I arrived in the afternoon, there was a brown out. So most of the students studied in the porch near the dormitory area together with their tutors. The Korean woman asked me to observe the class of the kind Korean guy I met earlier. I was a bit shy that time, so I just kept on looking down. He asked my name and then introduced himself. He said his name is Kim Dong Min and I can call him Nick.
He was really kind and jolly. Always smiling and happy. When it was time for me to transfer to the other class, he said that he hopes to see me again and that he was really glad to met me. To make the story short, after a month of being friends, he started to court me. Then after 3 months of courtship, we became lovers. Since then, we’ve never been separated. Although we fight sometimes, we still stayed with each others side. Despite our differences and shortcomings, we still managed to forgive each other. I guess that’s just how love is.
